Android Setup — Google Family Link

Family Link is one example of a device-level parental control tool. FortGram works with others too — this guide simply covers the most common option.

Google Family Link lets you manage your child’s Android device remotely: approve app installs, set screen time limits, and review activity.

Basic steps

  1. Install Family Link on your device (parent) from Google Play.
  2. Create or link a Google account for your child. Accounts for children under 13 are managed automatically; for teens, supervision must be accepted by the child.
  3. Set up the child’s device — sign in with the child’s Google account during initial setup, or add supervision to an existing account.
  4. Configure restrictions in the Family Link app:
    • App approvals: require your permission before new apps are installed.
    • Screen time: set daily limits and a bedtime schedule.
    • Content filters: restrict mature content in Google Play and Search.
  5. Block standard Telegram — go to the child’s app list in Family Link and block Telegram if it is already installed.
  6. Install FortGram — approve the install via Family Link so it becomes the only Telegram client on the device.

Настройка Android — Google Family Link

Family Link — лишь один из примеров инструментов родительского контроля на уровне устройства. FortGram работает и с другими; этот гайд просто описывает самый распространённый вариант.

Google Family Link позволяет управлять устройством ребёнка удалённо: одобрять установку приложений, устанавливать лимиты экранного времени и просматривать активность.

Основные шаги

  1. Установить Family Link на своё устройство (родительское) из Google Play.
  2. Создать или привязать аккаунт Google для ребёнка. Аккаунты детей до 13 лет управляются автоматически; для подростков ребёнок должен принять запрос на наблюдение.
  3. Настроить устройство ребёнка — войти с детским аккаунтом Google при первоначальной настройке или добавить наблюдение к существующему аккаунту.
  4. Настроить ограничения в приложении Family Link:
    • Одобрение приложений: требовать вашего разрешения перед установкой новых приложений.
    • Экранное время: установить дневные лимиты и расписание отхода ко сну.
    • Фильтрация контента: ограничить материалы для взрослых в Google Play и поиске.
  5. Заблокировать стандартный Telegram — в списке приложений ребёнка в Family Link заблокировать Telegram, если он уже установлен.
  6. Установить FortGram — одобрить установку через Family Link, чтобы он стал единственным Telegram-клиентом на устройстве.
